Our classes are held every Monday, Wednesday and Friday (except holidays) at 10:00 am, at The Salvation Army on 400 Niagara Street, with each class lasting approximately 30 minutes. We begin each class with a short devotional thought for the day, followed by the video workout. The videos are easy to follow and include a warm-up, upbeat aerobic walking, and a cool-down. We have a variety of workouts including: Heart Healthy Walk, Walking Down your Blood Sugar, A 2 Mile Closer Walk (w/ Christian music), Walk & Kick, Walk Away the Pounds, etc.
The videos lead you, but please feel free to work at a pace that is comfortable for you. Feel free to bring along 1-2 lb weights and/or a stretch band, if you have any of these at home, as some of the videos incorporate them into the workouts. Also bring along your water bottle to keep hydrated during the workout. There is no registration or fee for this program, however there is a jar provided for you to make donations towards the cost of the program if you so desire – there is no obligation.
